You are looking at a absolutely mint Texaco Jet Fuel Tanker Truck. I am not sure of the year of this truck but I am going to guess the early 60's. This has been stored in its original box. As you can see from the pictures this is probably the nicest example of one of these trucks that you will be likely to find. I tried to take some close up pictures so you can see the details such as the clear windows that show the clean dust free interior with black steerin wheel and chrome dash, the bright chromegrill, and the rust free screws on the back. Tires show no wear and the paint on the wheels are perfect. T are no scratches no rust no dents. Has never been played with. The wheels will steer if you tilt the cab the direction you want it to turn. This was the first time this was done on any toy and a patent for the design was applied for. The box is perfect with the exception of the end flap that was opened around the staple see last pic. I am not sure of the scale of this truck but its big, measures just under 2 feet at approximately 23-1/2" long, 6-1/2" tall and 6-1/2" wide. It was made by Brown & Bigelow in St.Paul Minnesota for Texaco. A truck of this condition would be a great addition to complete your collection. Dont forget Christmas is only a little over two months away and ts someone who would love to get this under their tree.
