Beautiful little salt glazed jar by renowned potter, Billy Ray Hussey, Bennett, NC, near Seagrove. Salt glazed pots are made by throwing salt directly into the kiln during the firing process. Billy is a visionary potter who also does wonderful traditional work. This little cobalt decorated pot is 2 5/8" tall and the same measured across lug handle to lug handle.
