2 Bing Grondahl Butterfly Sommerfugl 9 5/8" Plates

A beautiful pair of hard to find 9 5/8" porcelain dinner plates made by Bing & Grondahl in the classic and discontinued blue and white Butterfly (Sommerfugl) pattern. Both are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
The plates have a bright white background with embossed scales and a scalloped edge. They are decorated with blue floral designs and a picture of a blue butterfly in the center. They are B&G number 25. B&G backstamp on bottoms date them from 1958-1961. Both are first quality.
This pattern has been discontinued and the pieces are becoming harder to find.
