We are delighted to offer this fine Bing & Grondahl figure of a seated hound. The finely modelled porcelain hound sits on its rear legs with its tail lying alongside. The dog has raised ears and is painted in a pastel brown colour with a brown patch work coat and blue eyes. Several dog designs are attributed to Dahl-Jensen and this dog is marked to the base with a blue underglaze B & G mark for Danish makers Bing & Grondahl. The base also has painted monogram ME along with painted numbers 2189. These figures have become increasingly sought after in recent years and this is a particularly fine example for the discerning collector. OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE!
