Desert Storm Iraqi Binoculars. Being a member of the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment in 1991 and Spearheading the charge through the "elite" Republican Guard was an awesome experience and one I'll never forget. Along the way I was able to gather up a few mementos from the littered desert floor. I found this gem in one of the many bunkers or spider holes which ran all through the desert. T's no brand name on it, just some Arabic writing which I have no idea of what it says. I got a good deal on it, as the owner didn't appear to be in any type of condition to negotiate a price. it does say, 8 X 30, and Field - 8.5* Looking through it, you can see the longitude and latitude lines in the frame, like looking through a periscope. Comes with nice leather case with red velvet lining.
