This is a two-volume book set "The Birds Of Washington" by William Leon Dawson, Seattle: The Occidental Publishing Co. 1909] Complete 2 Volume Set. Limited Large Paper Edition of 200 sets. Copy #61. Signed by the author. Illustrated by more than 300 original half-tones of birds in life, nests, eggs, and favorite haunts, from photographs by the author and others. Together with 40 drawings in the text and a series of full-page color-plates by Allan Brooks. Large paper edition with photogravure and special photographs. The color plates are vivid! The books covers show some obvious wear including splitting along spines, heavy wear at bottom of each spine, as shown. The title and first few introductory pages along with first photogravure and heavy backing are loose from the binding of volume one. Books are complete with all plates, previous owners name neatly written in front of each book, no library markings. An additional old hand typed index to the illustrations is included, as found inside front cover. - Buyer pays 5.00 shipping in the U.S. Insurance and international shipping are additional.
