Original lithograph from the founder of the Prairie Print Makers, Birger Sandzen, 1935, small edition of 50, large image size 16 x 20, framed 31" x 28" x 1 3/4", in expensive gold filigree frame with archival matte and UV glass. I've had this print around 20 years; it's time for someone else to enjoy it. Sandzen made a couple of trips to Mexico and about three trips to Europe during summer months; this was an architectural image that he drew after a trip to Mexico. This famous print is pictured in the hardback biography of Birger Sandzen by Emory Lindquist., as well as the catalogue raisonne of his graphic works by Charles Greenough. The lithograph appears dull in my pictures, the last picture showing the width of the frame is more of the buff quality this print possesses. In very excellent condition, a little rippling in the bottom middle margin, near the image;as well as a small vertical print line in the image. Under close inspection, it's the first time I've noticed them, but they are not flaws as such. Frame is in good-excellent condition, maybe a few tiny nicks, but negligible. shipping is free, insurance included. Kansas residents add 6.3% sales tax. If you have questions or want more pictures in better light, please email me and I will be happy to send you .jpegs. The $17.40 shipping listed is incorrect. Thanks for looking.
