Each of the pieces has an intricate motif in the form of a band going around the rim. Within this band looks to be running dogs between a beaded cartouche separated by jewel-like bulbous designs. The condiment pot + open salt both have the original deep cobalt blue liners. The spoons were made by Charles Boyton & Son but go very nicely with the set. Everything is in excellent condition and looks barely if ever used. The cobalt liner in the open salt has small spot of roughness on the rim which I clearly show in the photo. Also, t is a small dimple in the salt shaker which could be pushed out fairly easily I'm sure. Besides this, I see no other flaws. T is no corrosion or black spots and these will need no further polishing. Really is one of the highest quality sets I have come across.Salt shaker measures 3 3/4" (9.5 cm) tall, the condiment measures 2 3/4" (7 cm) tall, the open salt measures 2" (5 cm) tall. Spoons measure 3 1/4" and 2 5/8" long. The silk lined box is in excellent condition also although one of the clamps needs a nail. This set was retailed by Weir Sons Dublin LTD which is printed on the back inside of box. Please read more
