BIRTLES TATE PINK OPALESCENT GLASS SWAN This auction is for an opalescent pink glass swan produced in England by Birtles Tate with registration number 20086 and produced around 1885. This swan stands about 3 3/4" tall and 4 3/4" long, from breast to tail. The glass has a distinct opalescent effect on the top rim and subtle opalescent throughout. The breast area has a pink hue and when placed near direct lighting the glass seems to have a shimmering marigold hue. The swan is in fine pre-owned condition, no damage and no indications of surface wear from use or storage. Please review all pictures as they are part of the description.
