A spiritual treasure from the private collection of a Roman Monsignore! This reliquary comes originally from the estate of a Roman Curia Cardinal but ended in the remarkable collection of a Monsignore who has one of the most remarkable private collections of reliquaries I have ever seen. It once stood on the Cardinal's desk: A gilt metal/crystal glass shrine, 8,5 cm x 8,5 cm x 7 cm , with a red silk pillow inside for the crystal and beutiful relic cross theca, with inside decorations (little beautiful silky hand-made embroided lamb with cross on an altar and symbols of the passion and gilded flowers). 4,5 CM x 3,5 CM . Rome, ca. 1790. Inside, the cross form reliquary, t is a precious relic of the TRUE CROSS OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST Ancient Italian relic of epoch 1700 of the Saint true Cross of Jesus. Reliquary is Closed by an ancient crystal. threads are intacts, seal is perfect and readable. (very important!) Inside: two small wood fragments to form of cross. and beautiful decorations with a silky hand-made lamb and others decorations with original gilt metal/crystal glass shrine.
