Bisque socket head with flattened solid dome, elongated facial modeling, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, lovely antique costume comprising lace edged white dress, lace bonnet, undergarments, brown stockings, black and brown saddle shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 11 H 949. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: beautiful child with closed mouth, fine quality bisque and painting, original body and body finish.
