Looks like a homemade frame was originally made, to surround this picture, many years ago. The long tall RECTANGLE wood frame is the one that looks to be handmade. The long octagon frame, that surrounds the picture, was not handmade. It, the octagon frame, appears to be some kind of a hard plastic/decorated in brown/beige stripes decor. The outside is the old wood frame. DATE: 1920's era. The single woman is sitting down on what looks like a small table stand. She has on a long strand necklace & they are all are elegantly dressed for this photo. The young man must be posing with his wife since he has 1 arm around her and is sitting on her arm chair with a ring showing on his left finger. He is holding a cigar and a Panama style looking hat. Looks like, maybe, an open cedar chest is behind them. The lady, with the young man, appears to be holding a purse in her lap that her hands are folded on. The portrait has some scratches, rub marks & marr marks on it. The woman sitting down next to man has a marr on her chin. The lady sitting by herself looks to be in pretty good shape. She is sitting on a very pretty carved bench or small table stand of some kind. The man has some small scratches around his face but his face shows up well.**ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING PLEASE EMAIL US AND WE WILL TRY OUR BEST TO ANSWER, THANKS.**Approx meas. outside wood frame 1st: 24 1/2 tall x 16 1/4 wide (across.) Inside octagon frame approx: 22 3/4 tall x 14 3/4 wide (across.) Portrait meas. Approx: 19 1/4 inches tall x 11 inches wide (across.) Back has no hanger. I think the wood frame MIGHT have hung on a nail or hook since t is a made gap that surrounds the wood frame to the octagon frame. Listed plenty of pictures to view. Again, please email with any questions & we'll be happy to answer you. Happy trails & God bless.
