This fantastic Ammonite specimen from the Mahajanga Province of Madagascar has hollow chambers of sparkling calcite crystals. The patterns and lack of color are intriguing. The back side is a very dark gray, almost black color with some orangey brown dirt/clay. It is from the Mahajanga Province of Madagascar. Black Ammonites from this region are a rare find and have not been seen or found in years. AWESOME!!!!
