Up for auction is a wonderful Black Forest Fox coat hook with chamois horns from the 1800's, most likely the 1880's. It has a music box on the back as well that works! This was purchased from an estate sale. The top part of the feather in his hat has a very small slice or chip out of it, but it blends in so well it is hard to detect. T is a wood chip on the bottom of his coat in the front and a split and tiny chip in the wood at the top of his left leg and the back of his left leg. The chamois horn is sturdy and remains in place on this part of his leg. T is a minute chip on the bottom of the bag he is carrying. He has glass eyes. The music he plays is some type of waltz. It is 12 1/4" tall, and has 2 horns for the hooks for hanging coats. One of the screws holding the music box at the top right in the back is missing. and at the bottom of the wood cover t is a small square area that appears to have been cut out. The round marker says SCHLOSS LAUFEN on it. T is German writing as well under this, but I am unable to make out what it say. This is a hard piece to find, and would be great to hang on a wall for display purposes. I do discount for multiple purchases for shipping. Email me with any questions you have before bidding as all sales are final. Shipping will be $8.85. I will ship internationally but payment must be made with PayPal only for international bidders. Insurance quote will be given at end of auction.

You must contact me within 3 days of auctions end. I ship immediately upon arrival of payment. Serious bidders only please. If you chose not to insure your item, I will not be responsible. I do pack items well, but if for some unfortunate reason your item is damaged in shipping, I will provide the insurance slip to you for making any reimbursement claims with the USPS.
