ANTIQUE HAND CARVED 4pt ANTLER COAT RACK German 1800-06
Antique- Hand Carved with real Antlers This is an auction for an antique coat rack. Description: Hand carved border of oak leaves. Fantastic detailing. The main set of antlers are 4 pointer. The small antlers that hold the coats also are all real single points. The screws for the middle antlers, were replaced but NOT by us. All the other screws are original. The Wood is believe to be German Pine t are no markings, or stamps on the piece This is a fantastic example of German Black Forest Hand carving workmanship. Dimensions: 35 5/8” Long, 27” tall from middle to tip of Top antler, 13 5/8” deep from back to tip of antler Condition of peice: This piece does have some worm holes HOWEVER, The piece has been treated to prevent further damage. On the Left hand side below the 2nd Single antler holder, is a stain of some kind (SEE PHOTO). WE did not want to damage the piece by trying to take it off. But we believe that this is something that is easily removed. Consider the age it is in very good condition. In order to ship this item safely we would take off the main Antlers and ship the body and the antlers in SEPARATE Boxes. The ORIGINAL Screws will of course be included. It is circa 1800-1820.
