Black Hole âe" Celestial Series from Seattle 's Glass Eye Studio All glass from the Glass Eye Studio in Seattle is individually crafted by artists, not machines. This ensures that every piece has its own unique characteristics. The piece is in excellent condition same as when bought and in the same cushioned Glass Eye Studio blue velvet box in excellent condition as when bought. The description card that came with the paperweight states the following: A Black hole is a region of space that has so much mass concentrated in it that t is no way for a nearby object to escape its gravitational pull. The term âeoeblack holeâe is used because no light can escape from inside of the region, creating the illusion that it has disappeared or become a hole in space. Glass Eye Studio has designed the Black Hole paperweight with dense black and layers of dichoric glass to create a swirling vortex on an endless backdrop.
