We have simply been doing this too long for that! We see these mistakes roll into our shop on a daily basis. Dark Green , almost black, linen micarta scales, tapered tang, fish eye hardware, 3/16" 440c stainless steel stock. This is a very good quality full tang knife. 440c is Highly rust resistant and will still strike a ferrocerium rod with ease. As long as you have a sharp edge to strike it on. Otherwise, you should have a dedicated striker for your ferro rod. I rarely use the spine of my knife. THE SHEATH : .093 thick tactical black kydex. Quality, face mount 5/16" ferrocerium rod and profiled ferro rod holder of black carbon fiber, with shock cord retention system. Generous thumb ramp that actually works as intended. Perfect retention and NO rattle, due to our proprietary molding techniques. Unique to Yellow Hawk only. However, Due to the wonders of modern photography and digital imaging, it is not difficult at all to make even the shoddiest of kydex work, "look" like a finely crafted sheath, that you would want to buy.
