This nice old teapot says Liptons Tea on the bottom, but I understand it's made by Hall. The black color is one of the less common and it's in great shape, except for one chip, w they usually get chipped, right on the tip of the spout. Someone colored it in, and I missed the chip when I bought it at an estate sale. I'll post it at a low price, and if you don't mind a little chip, it'll be a great addition to a teapot display. Or it would make a wonderful friendly pot for that essential cup of tea at the end of a long day. This pot measures 8 3/4" from spout to handle, and 4 1/2" tall, to the top of the loop on top of the lid. Interestingly, t's a tiny pinhole in the rim on the top of the teapot. I've seen that mentioned in other's listings of this same brand pot, so it must have been part of the manufacturer's process. Makes you wonder what the practical use of that little hole? Note, this is will weigh two pounds with protective padding and box, so it's going to cost to ship to you.
