PT B-Bravo Special Forces Helmet with Communications Headset, Peltor P3 Mounts Ops Core VAS Shroud(Universal for PVS 7/14/15/21 and other NVDs) and ARC Rails. Size Large (Fits Head Diameter 55-59 CM, (21 ¾- 22 ¾ inches), Hat Size 7 1/8- 7 3/8) WARNING! THIS IS NOT A BALLISTIC HELMET , and OFFERS ABSOLUTELY NO BALLISTIC PROTECTION whatsoever from Firearms. PT Helmets are designed for and used by Operators for protection against head injury in Airborne, Maritime Boarding, Fast Roping, Rappelling, Air Assault, and other Special Forces fast assault related operations. If you are not familiar with these helmets, please know in advance that it is essentially a Mil-Spec Skydiving/Climbing Helmet. This one is, in fact, the USA Made Mil-Spec version with removable EVA foam liner (fully field-strippable) as opposed to civilian helmets with different shell material and non-removable Styrofoam liners. Now that that is out of the way, for those in the know, read on…… New 2012 design PT A-Bravo lightweight multi-impact Helmet, a preferred Bump Helmet issued to Seals, SF, MARSOF, PJs, USCG RJ’s, Security Contractors, etc. because of light weight, ease of COMMS integration (Shell cut-out for Dave Clark, Peltor, Lightspeed, Bose, and Sordin Headsets), and offers unobstructed weapon use. Snag-free for HAHO/HALO and Static Line Jump Ops, HALO/HAHO Jump tested to 20,000 Feet +. Dynamic porting and removable EVA foam padding for comfort and breathability. Waterproof, shockproof, MIL Spec. ABS Plastic Shell. Meets CEEN 12492, CEEN 1385 Standards for Non-Ballistic Tactical use.This Helmet has been additionally clearanced above ear cut-out area by by an additional inch for COMMS, and is closer to an A-Alpha Half-Shell. Plenty of Velcro for Name Strip, Flags, Blood Type, and Unit Velcro patches. Includes (2) Lights, ARC Rails, NVG Bungees. Nice piece of equipment in like new condition, you will not be disappointed.
