NEW VINTAGE GERBER SILVER KNIGHT KNIFE This is an unused Gerber Silver Knight with beautiful genuine black mother of pearl handles. It is a premium knife that Gerber imported from Japan (Sakai). These Silver Knights (along with the Japanese made Al Mars) are great examples of the great quality of top Japanese knives in the '80s/'90s. I believe this is from the late '80s. It is a single blade lock-back that is about 3" closed. I got this after Gerber discontinued the Silver Knights. My knife wholesaler had a number of models of Silver Knights from Gerber. They were all packaged in small plastic zip locks without the standard Gerber box. I assume they didn't want to print more boxes for the discontinued Silver Knight line. I stocked up at the time & saved one of each style for my personal collection (which I am now liquidating). Sorry about the lousy pics. I had a lot of trouble getting good pics so I tried a few different angles & different light sources. I think the best pic is the last one, the group pic. It is the knife in the bottom row on the far left. I also have one in regular white pearl that I am listing on ebay. Be sure to check it out. Thanks for looking.
