Up for auction is a nice old attic find. This is a black rotary dial telephone by Western Electric, in the original box, with packaging and paperwork. I don't believe this wall phone has been used. It is from the early 1960s. It has been in an attic for the last 40 plus years, and because it is the older style of hook up and is in original condition with no updates, I have not tested it. It also has the old style cord which didn't just snap in and out of place like the more modern phones do today. The dial and phone rest are metal, and I believe the part w the phone number got put on is in the small sealed brown envelope. That envelope reads, "Card Holder Parts group, 7 1 63". The rotary dial works fine, as well as the metal phone rest, and t is the ring tone adjuster on the bottom of the phone moves without problems. As for flaws, everything appears to be in working order. I have tried to show as many pictures as possible to depict it accurately. I see some light scuff marks on the phone from all the years of packing material sitting on it. It looks like it could benefit from a nice buffing, as I only superficially cleaned it for photos. No odors, no mothballs.High bidder to pay shipping per the calculator.
