The bear figurine appears to be foraging for food by a log. The bear has a light glaze and the log is hollow and unglazed with incredible detail that creates an attractive contrast and unique texture. The collectible figurine is signed by Native American Artists Paul & Dorothy Guiterez who have won many awards for their exceptional pottery. The New Mexico artists have received recognition at art shows such as the Santa Fe Indian market, Eight Northern Pueblo Show, NM State Fair, and the Gallup Indian Ceremonial.
