This is a 1945 copy of The Black Stallion Returns, by Walter Farley, it has 245 pages, is illustrated, measures 8 1/2" x 5 3/4" x 1". It has a library plastic cover over it and has been well protected, the book looks great, although it is yellowed with age, no dog eared pages, no rips and tears, not all thumbed through even though it apparently was a library edition, it has not been well read. Perhaps it didn't stay long in the library, I found this in a thrift shop. There is some writing on the inside front cover, a girl's name, nothing on the inside back cover, the page has a slight stain from where the borrower's card was removed. See the photos. You can also see how crisp and nice the pages are. I must let you know this is a smoking home with pets. Some people are very sensitive to smoking odors or pets and/or are allergic to perfumes, etc. and smell things that I'm not even aware of. Many of my older books have also been shelved by a fireplace for years, I don't know where others have been and paper does pick up odors. Some people buy used anyway and then leave negative or neutral feedback concerning odors, and bad feedback destroys sellers. I am letting you know ahead of time in order to avoid this, please be fair in return. I wouldn't offer anything for sale that wasn't worth it. Other than this, the books I list are sellable
