A black hard rubber English Swan Minor No. 2 fountain penfitted with a superb medium gold Swan No. nib which buttery smooth and quite flexible. Aesthetically the pen is in good condition, with little damage to either the body or the metal; the lever is black plastic of some sort and thus avoids the usual brassing there altogether. It looks a bit odd, though, with the gold band on the barrel but white metal clip (maybe the cap isn’t original, but it fits perfectly). But if you like this sort of nib, chances are that once you try writing with it you won’t care what it looks like; you’re not likely to find a much better example. The lever works as it should, though I can’t vouch for the longevity of the sac. Capped, the pen is 5 ¼ inches long.Shipping within the U.S. and to Canada is $2 for First Class Mail, $6 for Priority (ebay defaults to priority at checkout – if you want first class, let me know before you pay). As items sent by international first class mail cannot be tracked or insured, I will only use Priority Mail for international shipping, for which the charge is $25. I will not misrepresent the value of the pen on the customs form.
