Up for auction is this used Vintage R. Blackinton & Co Vanity Sterling Silver Glass Dresser Jar. This piece lovely Dresser Jar measures 5-1/4 inches tall. The Sterling Cap measures 1-5/8 inches in diameter and has a raised floral and vine design all around the cap. When you raise the ¾ inch in diameter cap upwards it exposes a ¼ inch diameter hole which must have been used for powder/liquid or ??? The round cap is monogrammed: “J S G”. I think but you be the judge. There is a tiny light small dent and a little larger dent on this cap. Around the bottom cap there are a couple light dents. The Jar has 10 flat sides. It is marked on the side of the lid: “Sterling (Logo) 1911”. It is in good condition (condition commensurate with age) with no major damage.
