This knife was discontinued when the original Blackjack Company was sold in the mid-1990’s. The meticulous hand finishing adds elegance to the piece; it seems to come alive when you hold it. This piece was a display model so never used. Since discontinued, it’s rare to find one that is new and unused. Made in Effingham, IL, USA. As a bonus, we’re including with the knife a copy of the 1995 Consumer Catalog from Blackjack Knives, LTD that shows the full line of each division: Blackjack Knives, Classic Blades, Ek Commando Knives, Cripple Creek folders, Becker Knife and Tool, H.G. Long & Company and Hoffman Design. The catalog alone is highly sought after and along with the Model 1-7 both are worthy of placement in your collection. Don’t miss this! With a polished carbon steel blade, meticulously hand-finished, the Model 1-7 is the finest military-style service knife. Traditional styling makes this blade an award-winner; its functional abilities to slice
