This is an original Blackjack Lapel Dagger, made in Effingham, Illinois, just before Blackjack went out of

business in 1997. This lapel dagger was one of the last items made before their doors closed; they were

never put on the market. Most Blackjack collectors have never seen one. The dagger is made of glass filled

nylon, and has a 2-1/2" blade that has a triangular cross-section with a fuller on one side. The handle has a

thumbprint stepped indentation so that your thumb can hold it securely. The sheath is plastic, and has an

indentation for a ridge on the blade, so the knife snaps in and holds securely point up, if you wish. The sheath has

14 thread holes in it, so you can sew it on the back of the lapel of your suit.
