about 15" for a long reach at the hearth or range...hand wrought by a blacksmith or perhaps a farmer - home made years ago ?? This old flesh fork is antique, guaranteed. hammer marks in the metal. Not damaged or broken and a pig tailed ring on the end, it has a great look too, a nice weight... I purchased this old utensil at an estate auction in Hershey Pennsylvania recently, many many antiques pre-civil war I ship Priority or Parcel Post, whichever is most efficient ( cheapest ) unless the package is oddly shaped which will mean Parcel Post ( the postage calculator on the auction page is an estimate but in most cases it will be correct and it will include a $3 handling fee - the weight of the package will be figured to within one pound ), items will be shipped the next Mon. or Thurs. after payment is posted / received ... items that are breakable will have to be insured...Books = media mail and small items can go first class...PA residents pay 6% sales tax...if you win multiple auctions I will combine the items into the same box if they are compatible in the same box to save you some postage
