Hook making jig This handy device has been designed to allow the user to readily manufacture upward to 80 different kinds,styles,sizes of many kinds of hooks. One of the most valuable features of this devise is repeatability. A customer can come back to you and want to reorder a dozen S hooks ( exactly ) like the ones they ordered six months ago No problem They will all be hand forged and as such will be different but will be so close to being alike it is astounding. It is entirely possible to turn out more than 30 S hooks an hour with ease on this jig . It is very hard to turn out hooks as symetrical and with the repeatability of this jig over the horn of an anvil. You can clean your bench off and get rid of a multitude of single purpose ,single function jigs and replace them all with this device which with the changing of or relocating the pins allows you to do so many different styles,shapes and sizes of hooks . It has two ever increasing spiral hole patterns that are drilled and reamed The holes are the result of years of making hooks ( there is no set pattern) Long,short,fat,skinny, two different size ends , two different style ends, the possibilities are almost endless.
