Up for auction is a brand new factory sealed very rare and hard to find 750 ML highly collectable bottle of Blanton's handcrafted premium Kentucky single barrel bourbon whiskey. It is bottled one barrel at a time in very limited quantities. The value of the item is in the collectible container, not its contents. (Bottles of wine are not permitted, as their value is generally based on the wine in the bottle rather than the bottle itself.) The container has not been opened and any incidental contents are not intended for consumption. The item is not available at any retail outlet, and the container has a value that substantially exceeds the current retail price of the alcohol in the container. The seller will take all appropriate steps to ensure that the buyer is of lawful age in the buyer and seller's jurisdiction (generally 21 years of age). The tiny horse and jockey on the bottle stoppers have become a trademark of Blanton's Single Barrel Bourbon. The rich heritage and tradition of horses in Kentucky parallel that of bourbon. A collectors edition set of eight different stoppers, with horse and jockey in different strides and poses. Each stopper is marked with a single letter that spells Blanton's when the set has been completed. Each bottle is dated when the whisky was dumped, bottled and the barrel number. It also has a registered bottle number.
