BLENKO ~ AMBERINA BOTTLE WITH TEARDROP STOPPER ~ This is another of our estate finds. I was told that it is Blenko. It is a gorgeous Amberina. Depending on the angle that you are looking at it, it takes on either more or less yellow, as Amberina pieces do. It is so pretty! It comes with a teardrop stopper. It rests deep in the decanter. I wondered if it is original to the piece since it rests so deep in and is not a tight fit, but it is. I was told that it is supposed to be that way. Neither the decanter or the stopper have any ground edges on sides (from fitting in other pieces). It is just made to rest in the decanter. It is gorgeous. T are no cracks or chips on the piece. However, t is a bubble mark, possibly from firing (or whatever they do after the glass is blown). It is from manufacture and is not damage. You can see and feel the bubble. It left a somewhat white rough appearance around it (looks whiter in the photo than it actually is). Because of this, I am starting this beauty at a low price. It isn't noticeable if turned to the back. It stands approximately 22" tall, with stopper. The teardrop stopper is 11" tall. Please take time to look at my other listings. I am always happy to combine shipping, when possible. It will save tremendously on shipping charges, so please take this opportunity to look at my other items. PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS The winning bidder must contact me via email within 3 days of auction end. If paying with a money order, payment must be received by me within 10 days. If t is going to be an issue w payment might take more than 10 days, the buyer must email me before bidding to make arrangements. SHIPPING REQUIREMENTS The shipping costs will cover Delivery Confirmation to track your package. I charge a modest $2 handling fee, which covers the Delivery Confirmation and packing materials. I never require a buyer to insure their items. However, it is highly recommended. I always use bubble wrap and peanuts for breakables or appropriate packaging materials for non-breakables. If an item is damaged during shipping, IT IS UP TO THE BUYER TO GET REIMBURSED BY THE POST OFFICE. I will get the form from the post office and fill out my part. The post office will send the form to the buyer and it is then out of my hands. I will not accept that the item was damaged due to poor packaging because I package very well. Please see my feedback with verification of this. I appreciate my buyers purchasing my items and feel obliged to protect their items to the best of my ability. Thank you for understanding.
