This remarkable dish is a true one-of-a-kind. It is handmade, probably by one of the prominent Mid Century Modern glassmakers who worked with this type of glass: Blenko, Viking, or Kanawha. The dish is about 7" wide and 5.5" high. It is in perfect condition, with no chips or cracks that I can see. The last photo shows my attempt at capturing its phosphorescence. The back of the head, tip of the beak, and thickest part of the base glow under UV light. It is tough to price; the only other handmade one that I can find online carries a $125 price tag!
