BLENKO MID CENTURY MODERN TALL TURQUOISE GLASS BOTTLE This auction is for a very tall blown glass bottle. It has no markings but has been verified by Blenko. It's number is 6425, it was sold from 1964-1965 and it's designer was Joel Myers. The color is a beautiful retro Turquoise. The Height is 22 3/4" without the stopper, and 27 13/4" with the stopper, and the glass at the inside bottom of the bottle is very heavy (approx. 3" thick) which gives it balance and stability. The bottle is 2 3/4" wide at the bottom, and widens out slightly before narrowing at the neck. If it appears to lean to the side, that is just my less than perfect picture taking. It actually stands very straight and tall. It has a rough pontil on the bottom. The bottle is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks, etc. The stopper has been mended - once w it fits inside the neck and is not visible, and once about 3/4 of an inch from the tip. The tip is intact and the mend is hard to see unless you are looking for it. (See pictures.)
