This incredible piece of Blenko art glass is made of three colors of glass. The top is olive green which changes to a dark amber towards the base. Crystal glass encases the lower half of the vase and tapers to a heavy square bottom. The vase is hand signed with the name Blenko and the initials JPM, which stands for Joel P. Myers, a design director for Blenko from 1963-1970. The vase stands about 7" tall and is about 5" across. It is in excellent shape with no chips or cracks. It has a few minor scratches and bubbles in the glass. It has a polished pontil, which is unusual for Blenko. It is very heavy and a superb example.
