This charming Bleuette was lovingly and authentically recreated for your pleasure by me. You may know my artist name as Margaret-Anne or Margaret Wolfe-Wilson. She is, of course, signed and dated on the back of the head (Mar 2011). The mold used in her recreation is Jean Nordquist Mold BELLETTE, which is a take down of the 1907 Jumeau. This was Jean's first Bleuette Premiere offering. It is also the mold which Barbara Hilliker chose for her limited edition and for which I was commissioned to make for her. These were made and sold for one year, and it is the Premiere that she said looked most like her antique Premiere Bleuette! Further to that, a limited number of these dolls I was comissioned to do for Theriaults, and which were offered in their catalogue several years ago! I have had a lot of success with this doll, eventhough both Barbara's and Theriaults were brunettes. Some of you may already own one! She would fit nicely on Global's Wood Bleuette eleven piece body or Janice Naibert's Bleuette body. On this body you can conveniently and confidently use all available pattens for Bleuette, the old ones and the new ones. She will make approximately 10 5/8" tall doll. She is wearing a light blonde handmade and styled (by the artist) lustrous mohair wig. She is wearing a headdress composed of small silk and velvet vintage flowers
