Up for bids is this clear glass blob top beer or soda bottle. This is a BIM bottle that stands about 9.5 inches tail. Late 1800's bottle with some whittle and seed bubbles. Inside the slugplate this bottle is embossed with " VALENTINE RETTIG CORNING N.Y. ". Also has the embossed "V" over "R" monogram inside the slugplate. Still has the original wire bail with signed porcelain stopper with a graphic of a hand holding a glass of beer or soda and reads " VALENTINE RETTIG CORNING N.Y. " No base embossing. Bottle is in overall good condition with the only flaw being a just over a 1/4" chip in the rim of the blob top. It is hardly noticeable with the stopper installed. Wire bail shows the usual corrosion for a bottle of this age, but is still intact and functional. Writing on stopper has faded a touch, but is still very legible .Buyer to pay only the actual priority mail postage from postal zone 14843. I accept checks, cashier checks, money orders or Paypal. Possible wait on checks. I package all my items very carefully and I will not take responsibility for uninsured items that are damaged, lost or stolen in transit.
