***Blood Red Phantom*** ~~ Quartz Crystal Lightbrary ~~ Orange River Region "South Africa" 1-1/4" Tall x 1/2" x 1/2" Wide 10 Grams This Orange River red lightbrary is way cool! These type crystals have an opaque white inner core and a thick outside overgrowth of blood red hematite with a clear gem coat of quartz that creates hematite phantom outlines. This one has three sides with the complete clear quartz coat and three sides with exposed red hematite only. The exposed hematite sides have an additional coat of quartz druse which makes it sparkle like glitter. The hematite is what makes them red and this one is a deep dark blood red, the most highly prized color of orange river red quartz. The primary large crystal has a good covering of smaller lightbrary crystals all around, the small side crystals are what make the crystal a lightbrary, the main crystal is referred to as the teacher and the smaller crystals around the sides are the student body. A small pocket of these blood red lightbrary crystals were found in 2004 and very quickly sold out. This is the last one I have to offer and as far as I know t are no more like this for sale anyw
