Vintage Fountain Pen

Sheaffer's Feather Touch

Love the color of this vintage Sheaffer's fountain pen - a blood red with irregular stripes of black running through and all of it with a luster. It has a lever that moves smoothly but does need a bladder. The nib and the appears to be gold and is marked Feather Touch 5. On the barrel it says W.A. Sheaffer Pen Co., Fort Madison, Iowa, USA, Patented in USA, 500.Beneath the lever t is a monogram M.L.B. that's barely legible but under magnification you can see that originally it was done in gold. Measures 4 3/4" long and feels extremely good in your hand.
