VINTAGE BLOWN CASED GLASS PITCHER - JUG PULLED LOOP DECORATION FIRE POLISHED PONTIL I SHIP WORLDWIDE Being offered in this sale is a beautiful American studio art glass pitcher with pulled loop decoration that I would say dates to the early / mid 1900s. My guess is that this was made by a worker at one of the South Jersey or Pittsburgh glass factories in the fashion of the mid 19th century pieces. It measures 10" tall and is 7 1/2" in diameter from handle to spout. The foot is 4 3/8" in diameter and has a very highly fire polished pontil which is one reason why I feel it does not show more base wear. The inner layer of glass is opaque white with "pulled" deep amethyst/maroon loops. The outer layer of glass is clear as is the applied handle and foot. The condition is outstanding. T are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or evidence of grinding. Please feel free to email with any questions. I always guarantee everything that I sell to be as described. This piece is being sold without a reserve as long as t is an opening bid. High bidder to pay $8.00 shipping/ including insurance - inside the United States and Canada. SAVE ON SHIPPING: If you are bidding on or plan to bid on more than one item I will at your request hold the items to ship together. I WILL SHIP TO EUROPE for $25.00.
