Offered for your consideration, is a very nice New Martinsville Anne blue powder jar, tray and 2 perfume bottles manufactured late 1920s. The powder jar, from the base to the top of the finial, measures 4" in height and 4 1/4" in diameter. Each perfume bottle is 6" tall. The tray is triangular and is 7" on each side. The color of this is ice blue. None of the pieces have markings. All are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks. The rims are smooth to the touch, with no flaws. The glass shines....has nice clarity.What began in 1900 as New Martinsville Glass Manufacturing Company became The Viking Glass Company in 1944. Located in New Martinsville, West Virginia, these two companies were producers of elegant and colorful decorative glass pieces. The company went out of business in 1999 but their products remain popular.
