This fine machine is from an estate. It is the finest straight stitch with reverse machine Singer ever built. This is a beautiful Blue Label Anniversary Model 221-1. I was told by a collector that it was known to be the best featherweight made in Elizabeth, NJ. This machine was made by Singer during it's century year in 1950-1951. This machine was made August 22, 1950. The label on the front of the machine has the inscription "A Century of Sewing Service 1851-1951". These limited edition' models are becoming increasingly difficult to find. The original shiny black finish is in very good condition with the gold decals in very fine condition with little or no wear. T were two very small spots which I believe to be paint on the finish that I chipped off with my fingernail & am sure the remainder could be buffed off but I did not want to touch it any more. I am amazed at how nice & clean this machine is. The cords are in very clean condition. The original oil can, 2 screw drivers, a buttonholer with manual, original Singer motor lubricant in tube in box, (2) keys for case, a needle threader are all included, but the original manual for the machine is missing. The original case is absolutely pristine inside & out. The serial number is AJ 787585. Any questions, please email. Shipping will be approx. $30.00.
