You read it right folks! Old stock, old material newly slabbed. This material was cut from the only piece of Blue Mountain Picture Jasper that I have found at Rocks N Chips. It was marked as "Private Stock", sitting in an old steel milk crate! what a great find, for me and for you. The color you see in these pictures has not been enhanced in any way. This is exactly as the slabs look. The scenic patterns are well defined. The material is solid, without flaw or fractures. You will find that this Jasper is highly silicified and take a polish that has that "wet" look we all prize so much. This slab measures 61/2" x 2 1/4" X5/16" thick and weighs 5.8oz. You will only have one problem that I can see with this material; it is almost too pretty to cut! So buy two and simplify the problem!!
