Up for auction this Vintage Blue Mountain Dominic Stanzione BLUE glaze vase, Mr Stanzione was the master potter in the Observation studio of Blue Mountain, The Studio was built for the production of innovative production of handmade artwares, opened in 1966 it was designed for visiters to watch the production of the new studio line, These pieces were not moulded but handmade using a potters wheel by potter Dominic Stanzione,The entire process from throwing to firing took place in the pottery studio, In 1967, Blue Mountain Pottery received a "Design council for a studio line vase by Dominic Stanzione with a unique BLUE GLAZE , In 1977 Stanzione left Blue mountain pottery to set up his own studio. The BLUE VASE is thrown tby it has some small pop marks, This vase is signed by Dominic Stanzione and is approx 10 1/4" high.
