Rare Vintage Northwood Carnival Glass Grape and Cable BLUE STIPPLED Tobacco / Humidor. Overall condition is excellent. No cracks, wear or repairs. Displays outstanding multi color iridescence ! ALL 3 LID SPONGE PRONGS ARE PERFECT.
The lid does have some flat chipped areas on the rim (SEE PHOTOS). These are on the bottom portion of the lids rim and do not impede the side. Additionally the lid cover in place does not freely turn. It must be lined up accordingly to nicely fit. T is 3/4" of an inch turn spin ratio either way otherwise the lid may get stuck at that point so please be aware. This anomaly is common to lids and covers during production as quality control was not much in those days. The correct lid positioning will be tape marked for you. The Humidor itself is Virtually Flawless with 2 tiny nicks to the inside rim edge of the Humidor (SEE UPCLOSE RIM PHOTO). Otherwise the entire Inner & Secondary Rim, Bottom Thumbprint Pattern, Grape & Cable Pattern, and 5" Collar Marie Base are perfect and NICK FREE ! The Humidors interior is flawless and bears Northwoods underlined N in Circle mark. The Tobacco / Humidor with Lid Measures 7 1/2" tall by 6 1/4" wide. Vintage Northwood BLUE STIPPLED Grape & Cable Humidors do not turn up often. This piece is a true rarity as few exsist. Don't miss out ! Made by Northwood Glass around 1912. NO RESERVE PRICE.
