This Blue Lemurian Quartz crystal point is from Bahia, Brazil. Blue quartz is simply macrocrystalline quartz and color can vary from gray to deep blue. Natural blue quartz can be colored by inclusions of other minerals like magnesio-riebeckite or tourmaline. Magnesio-riebeckite is the magnesium-dominated end member which has magnesium replacing part of the iron in its structure.
