Ebay is an addiction!!!! See group photos below for current items listed. Description: This is gorgeous!!! So many things I want to say about this bowl. Is graduated blue satin glass. Is peach blow or burmese coloration, but in blue. Graduates from a creamy white at bottom to darker blue at ruffled rim. In great shape. Handpainted enamel decorations. Has a cherub with grapes and a glass (making wine) in a cameo on front. Probably Bacchus or Dionysus in depiction. This glass piece just radiates importance. Is definitely high quality, reminds me of Mount Washington or Pairpoint. Heavy and substancial in weight. Some of cherub is definitely hand painted but not sure whether all is. Maybe copper etching transfer with hand painted details-scarf and hair are hand painted, can see differences in sheen and strokes. Has black hand painted trim on ruffled top. I could go on and on with details- just gorgeous!! Has unidentified marks on bottom of ground pontil. If anyone knows manufacturer--please email with info. Would love to know!! May very well be European in origin- I may be way off with my guess. Lend my your opinions!! Don't let this piece get away!!! I almost kept it myself!!! Dimensions: 6 1/2" diameter x 5" tall ( Nice large size for rose bowl) Condition: Do not see any issues with this piece!! No chips or breaks. Manufacturer: read more
