This is a lovely circa 1890s Blue & White cased Brides Bowl. The blue is very dark on the edge of the ruffled and crimped rim and fades in to white on the interior. The exterior of the bowl is also white. It measures 11" across and 2.75" tall and it has a polished pontil. You very seldom see a brides bowl done in any variation of the color blue, so while it is not classified as rare, it is a scarce color. Really a beautiful bowl and ready for you to complete your silverplate brides basket. It's absolutely 2DIE4!
