Indian Head-Dress Blue-White Stoneware Pitcher Blue-White Stoneware was produced in quantity for utilitarian purposes from the late 1800s well into the 20 th century. It is very popular with collectors and has no real specific name--sometimes being referred to as German stoneware, blue crockery, salt glaze pottery and blue Flemish. Decorations vary and 80 different patterns have been discovered. The Indian headdress or chief with bonnet sets in a basketweave pattern that continues throughout. The stoneware pitcher is in very good condition. The pitcher measure 8 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches across the bottom. Should you have questions or would like more information please e-mail me.
