BLUE WILLOW PATTERN CHILDREN'S DISHES 29 PIECES FROM 1950's This is a set of 29 pieces of Children's Blue Willow dishes from the 1950's. The dishes were made in Japan and feature the traditional Blue Willow pattern. T are pieces from two sets of what was called "Little Hostess Set", but all are the same pattern and color. The set includes: 4" high teapot with lid (2 pieces) 4" long X 1 ½" deep gravy boat with attached plate (1 piece) 2 - 6 ½" long serving platter (2 pieces) 4 - 2 ½" across X 1 ½" high teacups (4 pieces) 5 - 3 ½" across saucers (5 pieces) 6 - 4" across plates (6 pieces) 2 - 3" high sugar bowls with lids (4 pieces) 1 - 2" high cream pitcher (1 piece) 2 - 5" across X 3 ½" deep tureens with lids (4 pieces) - One tureen has been broken in two pieces and glued together - the repair is not obvious when looking at the outside of the piece - on the inside and the bottom you can see what looks like a hairline crack. The set is all in excellent condition with the exception of one of tureens, which was broken in half and repaired.
