BOB JONES (b. 1926) was doing animation work for Disney before graduating from high school. After service in the marines during WWII and then education at USC and the LA Art Center School, Jones began doing cover designs for the record industry, including Columbia and RCA Victor. He also worked as a commerical illustrator doing images for magazines such as The Saturday Evening Post and Woman's Day before joining MAD Magazine 's "usual gang of idiots" in 1976.

This original art is from the feature " Spuds Mackenzie's Photo Album ," from MAD #281 published in 1988 . This art piece is in excellent condition, with an overall size of 9.5" x 8.75". It has been mounted to a larger piece with an overall size of 11.25" x 8.5".
